ECE3610: Engineering Probability and Statistics
Taught: Spr. 2005, Spr. 2003, Spr. 2002.

 Summary

To date, I have taught ECE3610 twice. The original lecture notes for this course were largely derived from a set created by Dr. Wickert. The notes here have been almost entirely re-written for a new textbook. Some features of these notes include:
An introductory section motivating the course with examples (section 1).
A section describing set theory and giving an axiomatic theory of probability (section 2).
A section on discrete random variables (section 3).
A section on continuous random variables (section 4).
A section on joint probability distributions (section 5).
An introduction to statistics (section 6).
Dr. Wickert and I together typeset the lecture notes.
